Hi and welcome to our June Newsletter. At Inspired Prosperity we have alot of exciting news this month. Mastering Your Emotions

On the weekend we held a workshop on Mastering Your Emotions. We learnt about embracing our negative emotions as they are a guide, a gift, a sign telling us that something is not working and we need to make change to move us forward. When we feel a negative emotion whether it is depression, anxiety, fear, hurt, guilt or stress, just to name a few – What is that emotion telling you? It is a message for you to stop, what your currently doing is not working. The negative emotion you are feeling could be either from the way you’re perceiving things or the procedures you’re using. The way you’re communicating your needs to people, or the actions you are taking. Take a look at the situation and change your approach, change the way you’re communicating or change the way you perceive a situation.

A couple of solutions we looked at to help with mastering your emotions are firstly identify what your really feeling, often we mis-read what emotion we are really feeling for e.g. often hurt is misinterpreted as anger. Secondly know and trust your emotions, communicate with yourself and know and trust they are there to help and support you to make positive change. And thirdly ask yourself “what is this emotion telling you”. Get curious about the message your emotions are telling you. “What do i need to do to make things better” e.g. a feeling of loneliness is a call to action that you need to communicate with someone. The other thing to remember is you are in control of your emotions and you can feel happy, content, peaceful at any time. Feel good just because you’re alive, just because you can. Embrace Life, Enjoy the Journey…
