Befriending Fears
Knowing your fears and overcoming them is a very empowering and liberating experience, and is the difference between you moving forward and being stuck where you are because you are afraid of something.
The foundation 5 fears are 1. Fear of being unloved
2. Fear of not belonging
3. Fear of not being enough
4. Fear of being abandoned
5. Fear of being unfulfilled
Experiencing fear in any of its forms can hold you back from creating a life you love and experiencing personal growth and everything life has to offer. Creating change, moving forward in your life, having loving fulfilling relationships with yourself and others, fear of change for your health, wellbeing and happiness.
Change is part of life and when we don’t create or accept change we feel stuck. Life becomes stale and mundane and you start to become unfulfilled. When it is time for change in your life and any of the top 5 fears come into play our life becomes unbalanced. When any part of your wheel of life is unbalanced it spills into all areas of our life effecting every part; relationships (self, partner, family, friends), business/career, financial, health, personal growth, social/fun time, physical environment. When your wheel is out of balance it is difficult for your life to feel balanced and happy.
Love yourself enough to create the change you want and deserve in your life. Whether your fear is of the unknown, not belonging, not being good enough, being unfulfilled, change, being happy, moving house, getting out of a bad relationship or a career change.
Overcoming Fear
- 1. TRUST!! – The antidote to fear is TRUS. Trust that everything will work out the best for you, trust you are loved beyond measure, trust you are supported in every way, trust that if what is happening is not for your best then another opportunity will present itself at another time. Trust you are allowed to be happy.
- 2. Change Your State – Take a step back and look at things a different way. Take the positive out of any situation and focus on what it is you want. What we focus is what will happen! Take a different approach and a different mindset. When we take a step back and stop negative self talk and let go of the fear a solution will present its self.
- 3. Exercise and Eat Well – This is so important and plays a huge roll in our wellbeing; physically, emotionally and mentally. You will have greater clarity, motivation, positive thought patterns, high energy and internal balance, relieving any stress and anxiety you have created around your fear.
- 4. Have Fun – Include fun, joy and happiness in your life. Fear cannot reside when you are having a good time and coming from a place of love. Fun and laughter have a beautiful healing effect on the mind, body and emotions. It allows positive feelings and thoughts to be present.
- 5. Take Action – Sitting back and waiting for something to happen…well you will be waiting for a long time. Take action, make a plan, create change, become motivated. If what you want seems to be too big, take action in small steps and you will get closer to what you want very quickly. This will also bring clarity and a feeling of wellbeing as you know you are doing something to create a solution to your fear.
- 6. Present Moment – When you are present and in the moment, there is no fear. When you are focusing on what you are doing right here, right now, you are standing in your power. Right now you are reading our November Newsletter, nothing else. Doing this will remove stress, anxiety and fear.
- 7. Think & Be Positive – Positive self talk plays a great part in letting go of fear. If a thought or fear keeps coming into your mind, say to yourself “let it go” and have a positive affirmation to say to yourself or something positive to focus on. You might like to say “Trust” and then focus on something else positive in your life.
- 8. Rest & Time for YOU! – Allow yourself to take time out, to rest, re-energise the body and rest your mind. When you rest and have time for yourself you are then able to give more, and feel fulfilled and happy.
- 9. Love Yourself – Love yourself enough to create the change you want and deserve in your life. TRUST and love yourself with positive, supportive self talk, being kind and loving toward yourself and know everything will work out for the best.
10. Help! – If you are having trouble releasing your fear, ask for help. Get someone on your team to get some clarity around your situation and to put some solutions and strategies into play. Someone will help you find a positive solution and will want the best for your wellbeing and happiness.
